In 1987, Chuck Osthimer joined Wright, Robinson as a principal and opened the firms San Francisco office. Chuck opened the firm's Los Angeles office in 1988 and managed that office until 1992. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced with Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon in San Francisco, where he became a partner in 1979 and served as managing partner of Bronsons Los Angeles office from 1980 to 1983.

Chuck is an

tort litigation.
He has managed
mass tort
litigation for
major
corporations in
several
industries,
including
pharmaceuticals,
aviation and
asbestos. As an
example, he was
regional counsel
for a Fortune
500
pharmaceutical
company that was
engaged in more
than 1,000 mass
tort cases over
a period of four
years. In
addition to
litigating cases
that went to
trial, Chuck was
responsible for
managing
discovery, case
staffing, lawyer
and paralegal
training,
recruitment and
development of
expert
witnesses, work
flow management,
and cost
accounting.
For the years 2004-2007, Chuck was named a Super
Lawyer by San Francisco Magazine.
This placed him in the top five
percent of Northern California
