Ms. Bacon joined the firm's Detroit office in 2007. Before joining the firm, Ms. Bacon worked at Ford Motor Company for over five years in chassis and vehicle engineering program s. While at Ford, Ms. Bacon oversaw the design, production and delivery of vehicle chassis components. While at Ford, Ms. Bacon received the Ford Motor Company Recognition Award multiple times and served as a subject matter expert for the Global Product Development System task force working on company-wide best practices for vehicle engineering.
In addition to her automotive background, Ms. Bacon brings a number of years of construction industry experience to the firm. While working as a project manager at Bayview Electric, Ms. Bacon provided leadership roles for a number of extensive automotive plant electrical renovations, including the installation of power packages, structured cabling systems, DC power systems, control cabling, and low voltage applications such as voice, video, and audio .
Ms. Bacon ’s other engineering experience s includes working as a project engineer in the conveyor industry and heavy underground construction of sewers and tunnels. Ms. Bacon designed and prepared specifications, reviewed schematics for compliance with codes, regulations and ordinances, inspected construction sites, and supervised site installation crews.
During her legal studies, Ms. Bacon interned for the Honorable Gerald E. Rosen of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan .
